Hey'aw it's Friday and it's a Public Holiday cos of Good Friday. I just had brunch - roti prata, a piece of tempeh(fermented soybeans which was fried) and a piece of drumstick(fried homestyle). SO good to be off on Friday so it shall be a long weekend, same goes for next week cos Sunday is 1st May, Labour Day which is a Public Holiday as well so automatically Monday will be a holiday. Weee!!! =) Aside from that, I've not been discussing my love life for a long time here in my blog. It is going down down down, so time off and I hope something good comes out of the time off. So, only ALlah knows the answer to that. Anyways, I can't wait for May Day Rally 2011 performance! It's gonna be a 5 minutes worth of sing and dance, so gonna do my best! Interestingly, there is a 'Zac Efron' and 'Shannon Doherty' in the group. Haha. I wonder what costumes we have to wear and I have to wear appropriate headgear to match. Either green or blue. Also, this Sunday 24th May my dearest Uncle, my mum's youngest brother will finally be getting married. ALhamdullilah! =) Will update more. Ciao gtg!

Hey'aw! It's my third week in NCS. So far taking calls and assisting users in IT issues have been quite okay. Only some users are a bit misunderstood. Oh well, it's the same as being in the frontline customer service only that this job i don't have to face the users so whatever they said on the phone doesnt affect me. Been busy with May Day Rally rehearsals now twice a week-not only singing but dancing as well! It's quite hard at first, but slowly I'm getting a hang of it. So by Wednesday, I should be able to do it! The theme is 80's Medley. But the thing is I'm having a bit of flu now so I hope I will be recovering from it soon.

According to Gani(dance trainer) we will be going for the Preppy look. I need to get a proper headscarf or hijab style and then I tie a scarf around my head as an accessory. Cos I will be the only hijab-wearing singer. Will upload pics of the performances if there are any. I think 2 weeks left till May 1st! 2 good news- Will be getting money($$) and it's a PUBLIC HOLIDAY on sunday so Monday will be an off day for all!

Hey'aw! Alhamdullilah, today was my 1st day at work in an IT firm, things went quite well except lunch and I dozed off while going through my self-training. Let's go through today's events:

7.30am: Walked to the bus stop
7.40am: Boarded bus to Ang Mo Kio- NCS Hub
8.10am: Reached NCS Hub (20 mins early!)
8.30am: Exchanged IC with Visitor's Pass
8.40am: Waited for Ms Devi, the person I had to report to
8.50am: Ms Devi called me and a few others (there were more than 10 new staff!)
8.55am: Waited in the office for phototaking
9.00am: Had photograph taken and checked correct name
9.15am: Received NCS Staff Pass, Ms Devi told me and a few others to proceed to Bukit Batok NCS.

I had a rude shock! I thought I was going to work at AMK! Oh well.

9.30am: Took bus to Yio Chu Kang MRT Station with two Filipinos, Gio and Karen
9.40am: Reached YCK MRT Station
9.50am: Boarded train to Bukit Batok
10 plus: Reached Bukit Batok
10 plus: Took bus to NCS
10 plus: Introduced to staff and the office called our 'NEW HOME'.
11.00 am: Waited for pass to be activated and read-up on documents

And as they say the rest is history.

So the day ended at 6.15pm, roughly. Instead of taking the bus to the interchange, I walked. Cos it's 4 stops by bus. Walking took me 10-15 minutes, but worth the walk cos it's VERY FAR for those who hate walking. I love long walks, long jogs and long runs. So yes, it's near for me. Took the train home. So I took one form of transportation. In fact, I walk more than I travel by transport. My carbon footprints are good! How about yours?

Hey'aw! I have great news! I have been offered a job at NCS Hub as a Service Desk Specialist(IT helpdesk). I researched about NCS and found out that it is a good organization so I do hope my job experience there would be a good one. Besides, it's IT related, as I am a graduate from IT school. Also, today I will be going down to sign a 1 year contract with EPS. EPS is an IT recruitment firm, so that's where I will be going. Hope it's an exciting week for me and to anyone who is reading this. Those who read my blog entries and like my blog, a BIG THANK YOU! :)

Hey'aw! Finally I bought the HTC Desire HD. Been using it for 1 week plus. :) So far it's good, and I get to chat on WhatsApp with my contacts. Of course, I still use my Ipod Touch. I have 2 smart devices wow! Okay enough of that, I am still waiting for MOE's reply about the AED job or the Bachelor Science(Education) but still no reply. Oh well, not my rezeki I guess. Anyway, I have a job interview tomorrow(after so long) at NCS Bukit Batok(so far).. It's for the position of a Helpdesk Specialist. I hope it will be a good interview, I have yet to revise my DCNK! Oh oh. Stuck on youtube. Okay gtg ciao! :)
