Hey'aw it's Friday and it's a Public Holiday cos of Good Friday. I just had brunch - roti prata, a piece of tempeh(fermented soybeans which was fried) and a piece of drumstick(fried homestyle). SO good to be off on Friday so it shall be a long weekend, same goes for next week cos Sunday is 1st May, Labour Day which is a Public Holiday as well so automatically Monday will be a holiday. Weee!!! =) Aside from that, I've not been discussing my love life for a long time here in my blog. It is going down down down, so time off and I hope something good comes out of the time off. So, only ALlah knows the answer to that. Anyways, I can't wait for May Day Rally 2011 performance! It's gonna be a 5 minutes worth of sing and dance, so gonna do my best! Interestingly, there is a 'Zac Efron' and 'Shannon Doherty' in the group. Haha. I wonder what costumes we have to wear and I have to wear appropriate headgear to match. Either green or blue. Also, this Sunday 24th May my dearest Uncle, my mum's youngest brother will finally be getting married. ALhamdullilah! =) Will update more. Ciao gtg!

Hey'aw! It's my third week in NCS. So far taking calls and assisting users in IT issues have been quite okay. Only some users are a bit misunderstood. Oh well, it's the same as being in the frontline customer service only that this job i don't have to face the users so whatever they said on the phone doesnt affect me. Been busy with May Day Rally rehearsals now twice a week-not only singing but dancing as well! It's quite hard at first, but slowly I'm getting a hang of it. So by Wednesday, I should be able to do it! The theme is 80's Medley. But the thing is I'm having a bit of flu now so I hope I will be recovering from it soon.

According to Gani(dance trainer) we will be going for the Preppy look. I need to get a proper headscarf or hijab style and then I tie a scarf around my head as an accessory. Cos I will be the only hijab-wearing singer. Will upload pics of the performances if there are any. I think 2 weeks left till May 1st! 2 good news- Will be getting money($$) and it's a PUBLIC HOLIDAY on sunday so Monday will be an off day for all!

Hey'aw! Alhamdullilah, today was my 1st day at work in an IT firm, things went quite well except lunch and I dozed off while going through my self-training. Let's go through today's events:

7.30am: Walked to the bus stop
7.40am: Boarded bus to Ang Mo Kio- NCS Hub
8.10am: Reached NCS Hub (20 mins early!)
8.30am: Exchanged IC with Visitor's Pass
8.40am: Waited for Ms Devi, the person I had to report to
8.50am: Ms Devi called me and a few others (there were more than 10 new staff!)
8.55am: Waited in the office for phototaking
9.00am: Had photograph taken and checked correct name
9.15am: Received NCS Staff Pass, Ms Devi told me and a few others to proceed to Bukit Batok NCS.

I had a rude shock! I thought I was going to work at AMK! Oh well.

9.30am: Took bus to Yio Chu Kang MRT Station with two Filipinos, Gio and Karen
9.40am: Reached YCK MRT Station
9.50am: Boarded train to Bukit Batok
10 plus: Reached Bukit Batok
10 plus: Took bus to NCS
10 plus: Introduced to staff and the office called our 'NEW HOME'.
11.00 am: Waited for pass to be activated and read-up on documents

And as they say the rest is history.

So the day ended at 6.15pm, roughly. Instead of taking the bus to the interchange, I walked. Cos it's 4 stops by bus. Walking took me 10-15 minutes, but worth the walk cos it's VERY FAR for those who hate walking. I love long walks, long jogs and long runs. So yes, it's near for me. Took the train home. So I took one form of transportation. In fact, I walk more than I travel by transport. My carbon footprints are good! How about yours?

Hey'aw! I have great news! I have been offered a job at NCS Hub as a Service Desk Specialist(IT helpdesk). I researched about NCS and found out that it is a good organization so I do hope my job experience there would be a good one. Besides, it's IT related, as I am a graduate from IT school. Also, today I will be going down to sign a 1 year contract with EPS. EPS is an IT recruitment firm, so that's where I will be going. Hope it's an exciting week for me and to anyone who is reading this. Those who read my blog entries and like my blog, a BIG THANK YOU! :)

Hey'aw! Finally I bought the HTC Desire HD. Been using it for 1 week plus. :) So far it's good, and I get to chat on WhatsApp with my contacts. Of course, I still use my Ipod Touch. I have 2 smart devices wow! Okay enough of that, I am still waiting for MOE's reply about the AED job or the Bachelor Science(Education) but still no reply. Oh well, not my rezeki I guess. Anyway, I have a job interview tomorrow(after so long) at NCS Bukit Batok(so far).. It's for the position of a Helpdesk Specialist. I hope it will be a good interview, I have yet to revise my DCNK! Oh oh. Stuck on youtube. Okay gtg ciao! :)

Hey'aw! Had a great Sunday cos I went for my usual Sunday class at Masjid Kassim and after which went to solat Zohor at Masjid Sultan(my favourite mosque in Singapore). After I finished my Zohor and doa, I saw a familiar face. Melati was holding a Swensen's cake box and saying Hi to me. I was surprised. I wouldn't deny that I had an inkling its gonna be a birthday surprise. Hehe. And so off we went to meet the other two girls, Elly and Liz. We proceeded to Botanic Gardens and had our lunch consisting of Briyani and Thosai. Nice! Yummy. Then it was cake time! I opened up the Swensen's cake box and tada! It was presents wrapped in a blue pashmina. Lol! Really creative lah u girls! Simple and sweet. :) And so I got a Kiblat Compass and a Sejadah Mousepad, 2 Pashmina Shawls(Purple and Blue-I love!!!!), a book-The Ideal Muslimah. And now for the real cake- Oreo Cheesecake(made by Elly) it was nice, good 1st try but definitely there should be a 2nd try! :) Thank you thank you thank you. You made my 23rd birthday a memorable one. :) Alhamdullilah. Tomorrow-WORK! O.o Ciao gtg! Nitey!

Hey'aw it's Chinese New Year today and it's the start of a long weekend! Yay! Yesterday was 1/2 day but stayed in the office till 4pm. Me and Ayu were the last to leave. Lol. Anyways, work is ok I guess, and I'm still waiting for March to hear the outcome of my AED application. Otherwise, I really hope I'll get a permanent job soon. Oh yes, good news! I went for the NTUC PLAY audition and performed a sing-dance of Naturally by Selena Gomez. I was selected to be part of the May Day Rally, under 'Singers' category. I've been wanting to join PLAY and finally I did! Yay! :) Alhamdullilah. Hope it's the start of something new. Rehearsals starts in March, and I looked thru the schedule, I saw that the final rehearsal will be held in the Indoor Stadium! Wow! And, my birthday is in 18 days.. Will be 23 years old soon.. So, I do hope February and March will be great months for me. Insya'Allah. Amin. Oh yes, going visiting later to Uncle William's parents' place and then to his place!

Hey'aw! Today is a Sunday, so it's my 2nd class at PERGAS. Today's class is about Bidayatul Hidayah. It's a really good program to follow because it helps me to understand and refresh the knowledge I gained about Islam, bits and pieces. Insya'Allah, by the end of the class I would practise Islam in a much clearer and most confident yet humble way. :) Oh yes, yesterday Z and I went to East Coast for a cycling date. But we took the wrong bus to Marine Parade, so we headed to Bedok interchange. Took bus to Marine Parade but alighted 4 or 5 stops earlier than the stop we are supposed to alight at. We walked because I insisted and walking(though long distance) is a good exercise. We reached our stop(on foot hehe) and bought packet lunch(rice, veg and meat) as well as bottled drinks and crackers. We walked again to ECP. The first thing we did once we reached was to eat! Cos we were so hungry and we need to gather energy for our cycling date later on. After lunch, we rented 2 bikes and off we go! We were cycling happily(the song from Princess Hours when Shin Chae Kyung rode her bicycle) played in my head. Then just halfway towards Changi it rained heavily so we took shade under the gazebo according to Z. We had half an hour to ride back and return our bikes. Once the rain cleared, we rode as fast as we could! Phew, we made it. Then we freshen up, sand particles on our bags and clothes we settled for early dinner at Mac! After dinner, we walked to Parkway Parade Shopping Centre and checked out stuffs. Been a long while since I went there. Till next time, ciao!

Hey'aw, it's Sunday already. I've been keping myself busy by watching a Korean drama called Personal Taste. I missed the show when it was showing on Channel U cos I had to work on the weekends. I'm happy with the way my life is right now. Alhamdullilah, syukur kepada Yang Maha Esa. :) I've been having a lot of thoughts the past year such as when will the right time be for me to don the hijab and that is one of the responsibilities as a Muslim lady. Syukur lah my friends are happy to see the change in me. I've a few mixed reactions from some people regarding my decision to don the hijab. I was thinking, that I don't like to wear clothes that are revealing and how important it is to cover my aurat. The only person who can see my all would be my husband :) that should be the way and this applies to ladies of all faiths. I am sure that the religion you truly believe in do not state that you should dress inappropriately right? As long as you look pretty when you face God. Wow, I guess I have grown up to be saying all these things. Oh well I shall get back to the show. Ciao!

Hey'aw! Today is officially 1st Jan 2011. Saturday, stay at home watch movies or chill cos it's raining. Yesterday joined the kecoh hijab girls for dinner and mini shopping at Tampines-IKEA. We ate the Halal(yes it is!) Swedish meatballs, chicken wings and I had a plate of fish nuggets with fries(the mayo tastes like cream, yum!). After which I said my goodbyes to them and left with 2 empty cards to fill for 2011 and 2012 according to Melati. Have yet to fill it in, when I really sit through and think abt it then I would. Oh yes I have to post my resolutions to her! Hehe. Surprise surprise! Went to Z's plc and I got a gift from him. I thought it was an accessory in a small rectangular box but it was....... IPOD TOUCH(the latest one yes!) with FaceTime, awesome. So that's one of the things Ive been wanting on my list which I can happily strike off. Next up, smartphone *wink wink* to Z :p So we had Mac delivered to his humble abode(lol) for supper with his family. All in all, it was a simple, speechless yet happy ending to 2010! :) Alhamdullilah. And officially I am wearing the hijab as of today, 1st Jan 2011.

Mine is 8GB btw. :P

Hey'aw! It's Thursday already. Tomorrow's Friday! 31st Dec 2010. Hopefully, no need to work OT. So finally, my sis got a new laptop adapter from Tannery Lane. Wow, Tannery Lane sounds like a place in the US of A. Lol. Went with her and her bf,Audi whose name is real btw. Just like the car brand, Audi. Reached work at 11.30am, still sick though, got a bit worst today but work is work. Trying to clear all the stuffs before the new year starts.

When I first came to work, I met this girl in scarf who is very quiet and eats lunch in the office. No offence, but I don't understand people who eat in the office. Lunch time is a time for you to eat and relax not face the papers while you're eating. Then I found out that, she has food from home everyday. And it's hard to find Halal food around Chinatown,even so Muslims have to travel far to get Halal food.

One of my interest is to meet new people and make new friends(wherever possible). And I thought Ayu is super quiet and we talked only when I have questions to ask her. Also, she doesn't smile that much until one day I said something to her and I saw that smile. That smile was sincere and sweet! Seriously Ayu, you look fierce when you don't smile. O.o Soon after that, I began to bring food from home and eat in the office with her. Now I understand why people eat in the office, too much work! But it seems, I've been eating a lot too! What's more Ayu shares her food with me, thank you, that's very kind of you. But well, though I don't really like the job(purely admin), coming to work is so much fun cos I get to laugh with someone called Ayu. Are you? :p

Hey'aw. Solemn mood tonight, cos I finally gathered my guts to check my email and lo and behold, I did get an email from MOE. I didnt get the AED job, cos currently there isnt a suitable match for me. So I have to wait for another 3 months and if there is a match, I might get the job after all. 3 months time? Gosh, that's long! Hmm, 3 months time would be March! Sigh. I hope I get a reply by January regarding this job. Sounds desperate right? Well.. I guess I am. Hmm, anyways, I really am not sure what kind of job I am looking for. :S Ya Allah, show me the way, the patience I need to hold on to, and I pray to you that I may find my true calling. Insya'Allah. Hey'aw! I think something's wrong with Twitter, it keeps giving me a 'Problem Loading Page' and I've signed in a few times. Anyway, I hope the results this coming Tuesday will be a good one, insya'Allah. =) And I do hope I get better soon, I hate being sick but I remembered a doctor told me before that if a person is terribly sick, it's simply because the germs are dying to get out. And so yeah, to pass on to the next person. Today, I went to my parent's place to rest there and spend time with my sisters. Z is busy so I can't go out with him. Hopefully we can have lunch on one of the weekdays and go out on Saturday. Work-wise, same old, staple cuts and paper cuts. Boring! But my partner is back, cos she was extended. Poor you. Anyway, I really hope she finds a job she wants soon. :) Gonna get a bob style haircut! Wee.. haha, its so leceh to keep long hair cos it keeps falling and since I'm wearing hijab now. hehe. Ciao!

Also, a newer trimmed haircut perhaps bob style? Oh yes! I checked my mail regarding the AED interview outcome, but there was no email regarding the interview. However... I did receive a sms from MOE about the outcome. I have been successfully cleared through the AED interview, and should wait for details w.e.f 7th Dec which is subjected to approval. Something like that! I was so happy, alhamdullilah.

Hey'aw, gonna upload pics of my family's visit to Universal Studios(US)....Singapore! Yes, finally it's here! We went there for the Hollywood After Hours(HAH) from 7pm to 10pm, entrance fee was $5 as compared to 10am to 7pm, which costs $60 plus cos you get to go on the rides and explore the whole place. What we wanted to do was just have a look at the USS and decide if it's good we'll go again for the rides and pay more. It's different from the one in the America of course, but I do so agree the US in the US of A is much better. Duh. Original is always best. I miss travelling.. =( But I've had my fair share of travels so not much to complain about. The HAH was fun, we ate at Mel's Drive-In diner which is halal so great! They serve Western fast food of course, and the interior design is similar to those of the diners in America, something like the one in Back to the Future. The food was nice but expensive! Thank goodness we had Resorts World Sentosa(RWS) vouchers $25 each so we can use them. Perfect! After dinner we walked around the USS and took loads of pics. So much fun! So after so long, I'm uploading pics. Oh yes, this family outing happened as the 7th of Nov 2010 was my dearest sister's bday. Happy 17th adik! I have yet to give you a prezzie so suspense for now yeah. ;)

Hey'aw, it's already my 2nd week at Great Eastern as a temporary admin till Jan 2011. So far so good, just dealing with lots of papers. The staff there are friendly and so are the temps. Mostly, 17-20 plus years old, so easy to make friends with. Hopefully, by the mid of November I get job interviews for permanent positions and a new handphone. Hehe. At least I have a job now, which is 5 days a week and weekends OFF; so I can spend time with my family/friends/bf. All's well, as long as I have income. Hehe. Let's see. I should really go and freshen up before I go to sleep. Also, I should start bringing food from home to save money hehe. Tmrw's lunch will be corn and mushroom soup with chili tuna (softmeal bread)sandwiches. =) sounds nice! and drink from the pantry. Budget haha. Ok gtg ciao! =)

Hey'aw! Still got time to blog lol. Went to Recruit Express office today at UOB Plaza 1 for a job matching interview. It's on level 56 OH MY GOSH. I had to exchange my IC for a visitor's pass before i can enter the lift lobby. Was so blur haha. Anyway, went out of home around 9am thought I would be late and lost. But I reached at 9.45am cos the interview is at 10am. So managed to find the place and filled in an application form, waited for my turn. Spoke to the officer in charge, she said she'll match me to the job according to my preference. Admin haha. The interview or shall I say meeting lasted 20 minutes and she passed me her name card real nice lady. :) After that took the train back and decided to go to Bugis for breakfast at Mac. Ate alone then went to Bugis Library, borrowed 2 books. Took bus home and when I reached at my parents' place, the Recruit Express lady called me to say that she found me a job 9-6pm at Raffles Place. So I said okay. Problem now is where is my bank book?! Ok gtg ciao! Have to go back to UOB Plaza 1 again, sheesh hope I won't be a blur sotong. ahha.

Hey'aw. It's the 2nd last week of October, still not getting my 2nd job interview. As I've mentioned the 1st went went out the window, lol. It wasn't a job I wanted. Anyway, I've been spending time with my family(which is good cos I rarely do) such as coaching my little brother in his studies cos he'll be having his Primary 1 exams next week. Exams?? Primary 1? Yes. Well it's good practice for him. This week I'll be out a few times. I'm trying to stay at home or just walk around my neighbourhood so I don't need to spend money on transport. But good news! I'll be getting transportation fees so I can use it to top-up the ezlink card my mum gave me. As of 17th October, am no longer able to use student concession. bOOOOOOOOOO!!! Today, will be meeting with an ex-colleague and a friend, Von at Bugis for lunch. Tomorrow, religious class with Nuoraz and Diiyan. Friday, dinner after maghrib with the gegeten girls! Haha. Then...... Come Saturday, spend time with Z! =) Sunday will be family day!

Hey'aw! Im hungry lol. I had 2 breakfast and one lunch today, thats why. I went for the job briefing but I didnt register for the interview. The job does not have benefits at all, except for the pay of course. You get paid for the number of hours you work. Sounds like a part-time job right? Hmm, so well I will just wait for other job replies.. Patience is perseverance. Is it? I hope so. Insya'Allah I doa that I'll get a job this year as the plans I have lined up requires income. My parents were wondering why I needed to get a job so fast when I have recently graduated. My mum suggested getting a part-time job nearby and I said if I have thought of that why would I quit my part-time job right? So I thought, maybe both parents were right, I should just take this time to rest.
So I would be spending time with Z on Saturday then I would be like wohoo! I am officially not working part-time! Lol. Okay gtg ciao.

Hey'aw! I have a job interview tmrw for the position of a Pro-FLAIR, specially coaching weaker K2 kids in improving their English. There'll be a briefing first followed by lunch, where I can decide if I want to register for the interview which (get this) comes with a reading test. Like an English oral. Wish me luck! :) I've applied for various positions, mostly government jobs. :) Oh yes, I got my hair cut too! Mid length with side fringe. Totally love it! Apply for jobs not IT related such as teaching, administration. Applied for MSO and ProFLAIR. Waiting for replies.
Accept the job that replies me! Haha. I need income seriously

Hallu, its finally the end of MP! And the results are out, I got a C+ for MP and a Pass for SIP. Alhamdullilah. :) So I have officially Completed my 3 year Diploma in Information Technology from Temasek Polytechnic. Have yet to receive the transcript and Diploma which will be next year during the graduation ceremony. Well oh well, perhaps meantime I'll work with NCC for a month or so, while waiting results from MOE regarding my submission to be a primary school teacher. Insya'Allah I'll get it. Then, next step would be getting a degree. Oh yes, went Jalan Raya with my poly mates. The pics are on facebook. Had so much fun and ate a lot till my stomach hurts! Hehe.

Hey'aw! So yesterday was our 1 year anniversary. :) We spent the day in school, cos i'm still doing my major project. After which nearing 6pm, we left for Changi Airport. The plan was to break fast at Popeye's, we were literally craving. We took 27 from tampines to changi airport terminal 3. Headed to Popeyes's, no seats -.- but we queued up anyways and by the time it's our turn to place order(we ordered for a takeaway), there were seats. Too late to tell the cashier to pack the food for here. I paid and took our big bag of food and a small bag of drinks to where Z was seating. He said why dont we just have our food here.

I was embarrassed to eat there since we already had our ordered packed to go. So I said no, he was unhappy cos we already had seats, but I insisted on going somewhere else. We walked up and all the way up, till we found seats at the check-in area. We break our fast there and then. Ate our fill and we walked to the basement, we found seats around the fountain. Should have gone there! Nice place to chill and eat. There was KIDS CORNER and a TV which showed Tom & Jerry. We had our 2nd round of Popeyes(trust me it was a lot for two!).

Went to the loo, to freshen up and then went to the same place where there's a "table" with different wooden boards, papers, crayons. It was a place for all ages to choose which wooden board they like and place the paper over it. I liked the Changi Airport piece so I put my blank white paper over it and trace the drawing using different crayons. Z liked the Ah meng piece cos it was easy! We had loads of fun, though it was a simple one year anniversary. :)

And then.. Home sweet home, so tiring slept on the bus all the way home! I love you so much Z. <3

Lucky me. :) Oh yes and it's the 10th day of Ramadan. Alhamdullilah. Went iftar and terawih with my TP girls, Ruzz, Dian, Jazzy & Miz! We tried KOI drinks: Hazelnut milk tea & ice-cream milk tea. Quite okay. Today, meeting Farhanah, my secondary school classmate cum Financial Advisor. :) Can't wait to meet her, been a long while. She's taking part in YOG too.
And also 6 more days to... Will let you know! Hehe.(*hint: the image below)

Thanks to my dearest grandmother I manage to get a new laptop.
Can you imagine upgrading from a 512MB RAM, Intel Celeron processor, 180 GB HDD, Windows XP?
Lol. I really couldn't take it anymore, especially working on my old Lenovo laptop using softwares that requires more space. Oh yes, I got the new laptop at $999. :)

Hey'aw! It's the 5th week of MP. So far so good, ok cliche. Well, hopefully my team can get our project up and running. Happy 11 months to us! Hallu! Been a long time since I wrote. Well, I had 2 weeks off so I spent time mostly with my family and boyfriend but more towards my family. Helping my sis with her homework, cos she needs guidance. She just won't do her homework without me or anyone beside her. My little brother started Primary 1 but well he reminded me of myself when I was a kid. We both share the same characteristics such as doing our homework, I would cry if my homework was left undone due to my foolishness. Hey kids back then play a lot, that's why they end up like me. Hey'aw! It's a public holiday today! And it's a Friday woots! I was kinda stressed thinking of my SIP work that adds up to quite a lot and 5 days to complete it is not enough. I tried to do them at home with the softwares I have, but unsuccessful, so I gave up. Well im bent on spending my ph and weekends SIP free. :) Went out today, met Zamir's mum and sis at Old Town Cafe at Far East. Had a drink with them and met up with his dad and brother in law at Wheelock Mark's & Spencer. After that went back to Four Seasons Hotel where Zamir, his sis and his bro-in-law will be going to KL with their aunt and uncle. Im gonna miss you! But before they left, while we waited for the aunt and uncle we had tea time at the hotel "bar". Had bruschetta, Four Seasons speciality cake(looks like brownie but has coffee flavour, crunchy like ferrero rocher), cheesecake, fruit tart, coffee and tea. :) Bonding time! It was nice. And then went home after bidding goodbye to Zamir and his sis and bro-in-law. Bought a yoga mat finally, it's lime green from Watsons. Last piece,been wanting to buy. And it's really comfy! I can sleep on it. Did a few exercises too. :) With that marks the end of my happy ph. I hope he arrived safely in KL. Oh, currently am writing new songs. That's all y'aw.

Hey'aw, yesterday was OFF day for me. Due to the PH in lieu, yay. =) so woke up late(yay) and watched Pet Sematary 1989 movie. Finally. And then I saw Poltergeist 1982 movie, but I'll continue my 'old movies' soon. Went out with mom and my two lil siblings to Raffles. Planned to go to NTUC Income Building but was late. Nothing new. Lol. Skipped that, went BK to have dinner. I had Fish burger,wasn't that fantastic but well it's food. And we went on to the Merlion at One Fullerton. My siblings wanted to make paper boats and let them float on the Singapore River. Something like that makes them happy.

We then went over to Esplanade and sat near the bay. Lol and view the new buildings like the building with a 'boat' on top of it. My siblings wanted to see the teddy bears at the Teddy Bear Shop at Esplanade but the shop closed down. So we went to the Movie Poster Shop and looked at all those cool posters! I saw Elvis Poster and I wanted to buy i but it costs $30. So ex. No money, unless I have then I wont talk so much. Lol.
Instead of that, I bought an Elvis postcard for $1.50. Yay.. All's well. back to work.

Hey'aw 2nd post. For today that is. I was reading about Kara DioGuardi, the American Idol judge. I think when Demi Lovato grows older, she will resemble Kara. Cos both of them have quite the same features.

It's amazing that they are working together on Demi's new song in Camp Rock 2! If you've read about Kara, you will find that her journey has been an amazing one, career-wise. She is such an inspiration to me! Cos she is songwriter, singer, producer and an AI judge. More to come Kara! I wanna emulate her. She is a good role model! =)

Hey'aw, it's a Friday. So far, I've been well I guess. Just that, i've not been having dinner at my grandma's home. It's been quite a tiring week for my body, due to last week's exhaustion. But getting on pretty well. I spent my Tuesday & Wednesday after SIP at my parents' house, with my siblings(who I missed so much!). I need help from sister too, what is that you ask? You will find out soon, well a few months from now. I'm busy preparing something and I guess I'll put up pics or a video of what that preparation is. Let's see what I did this week:

Hey'aw, 2nd day of the last week of April! Woo hoo here comes May, and I'll get to hear my song! Or rather the song I wrote for Alunan Kasih. So happy that finally, something like this happens to me. Hey it's once in a lifetime opportunity. =) Well, yesterday after 'work' I met up with my dearest boyfriend for a dinner and spent time with him. On Sunday, I had a 'blast' being off from work. Totally love it, after so much work and exhaustion. I deserve the big break you know though it's only for a day! And not only that, I got nice gifts from him!

Hey'aw! So been a very busy week and an exhausting one. Work work work. Very little rest, but all Im looking forward to is Sunday! To rest and spend time with my dear bf. =) good news! Ive been asked if I would like to sign a publishing contract so that the song "Hargailah Dia" that I wrote will be protected as long as it is played on radio or tv and other media types. As I am rightfully the owner of the song. The name that will be used to present my work wil be Diyana M Jasmi. Yes, that's it. I'd prefer D'Marie Jay though.

So I agreed to sign the publishing contract and will be hearing the song I wrote sang by Ms Kunjung Whitaker(runner up of Anugerah 2009) by May 2010! yay i cant wait to hear how it sounds. All's well.

Another thing, I have been head over heels in love with Bandvorstellung(The Baseballs). They are a group of 3 hot looking German guys- Sam(24), Basti(25) & Digger(26). Without much jabbering, here's a video of the song that I love from them! Oh come'n bring the good ol' 50's back!

Hey'aw! I would be a total dweeb if I say that I have never dreamt of stardom since I was a kid. I have always wanted to feel how it would be like to be famous. Someone famous for doing the right things and a few wrong things. But mostly, the right ones of course! Truthfully, I am a person who likes everything to be perfect and that I want everyone or anyone I meet to have a very good first impression of me
But sometimes I try too hard that I end up being a total dweeb. And people might talk behind my back. My fear is always when I feel that someone is talking bad about me. It's like I want a good reputation all the time. But, as a human I know that I am not perfect. So why not dwell in the imperfectness and do something good out of it?

I am really impressed with myself especially about what I have gone through from the time I was born and now I am 22. I am not ashamed to admit I have done an awful lot of wrong things but I learn from those mistakes. It's like when I fell off my chair backwards in class in primary school and everyone laughed at me, I picked myself up. I learn never to give up and strive to get what I want. What do I really want?

World recognition. Sounds like I wanna take over the world right? Wrong. I just wanna be known. So that is why I love it when I see young people doing the right things and living their dreams. Childhood dreams which come true. Such as being a star. I wanna be a star. Can I? Well, Im a star. But Im hoping for the moon now. =)

Hey'aw. Great weekend and great Friday indeed. I spent my time at home on Friday, much to my bf's dismay but I make it up to him by spending time at his place with his wonderful family. :) Yesterday. So, Friday I cleaned out my grandma's fridge which needs cleaning desperately. On Saturday, work was okay and after work, I went to a wedding reception held at Fort Canning Gallery. It was a 'tedious' journey to that place as I went with Dad and we had to climb a few steps. Not really a few, a lot actually and I was wearing a new pair of shoes with pointed tips. Doesn't really fit me as in the size but anyways, I wore it. Hehe.Mum, my siblings and my grandma came in a cab straight to the place. Lucky them. We met outside the reception, and oh my, its really a nice place. We were at the entrance and it was like a ball! Great ambience, and time to look for tables to seat. The dais(pelamin) was in white with two comfy armchairs and the guests' dinner tables were in white. White was the theme. So we salam all the seniors and settled down. Took our food, it's a buffet(the norm) and enjoyed our food! The dessert was nice. I love it! And we took pics, talked to our relatives, cousins, uncles, aunts said our hi's and bye's. home sweet home with grandma. That's all. Lol.

Hey'aw! It's the last week of March and 3 more days to 1st April! Woohoo.. How was ur weekend? Mine was crazy! Well, weekends are fun and endless hours of rest or spending time with the people u love/close with. I spent mine by working as usual. Saturday was okay, went to check out mobile phones at Starhub roadshow, cause I'm eyeing the Sony Ericsson Vivaz or Blackberry Storm! But so expensive. Besides my contract expires next year... So no more student plan. Lols! High time to think of what to do after I graduate.. Preferably work. :) So I can quit my part-time job, though I know I'll miss the crazy weekend crowds! especially Sunday! Aha! Sunday, yesterday crazy crowds, its such a wonder you know people get hungry and we're running low on food. So sad.. I ate pasta which was a-o-kay. Towards the end of work, I was like i feel light, floaty but happy haha. Tired.. And my dearest boyfriend texted me like many times about 6 messages, I was super busy couldnt reply. He asked if I wanted to meet him and join his family. I said okay! So I went to Victory restaurant opposite Sultan Mosque and had early dinner with them.After which went back to his house to chill with them and see Leo and Gandalf. The cats! I like Leo cos he's cute and friendly. Gandalf is shy so he pratically hides when he sees me. Lol.

To Kill A MockingBird. (TKAM)

Yes, I love this story written by Harper Lee. The first I got to know about TKAM was in secondary school, during Literature. Oh my god, how I miss literature and acting! I acted as a Bailiff in TKAM, even though the lines were a few it was really a good experience. And I wonder why I didnt pursue my passion in drama...
-_- I love plays too, I should really go out and watch more plays. Whenever I watch a play, it feels like I'm part of it. It's a really nice feeling. It's called Appreciating the Wonders of Play. my term. hee.

Interestingly enough, Fauzie Laily was a part of the play. He was given the role of Tom Robinson, the Negro who was found guilty of 'raping' a white woman, Mayella. However, it was not true. Sadly, Tom died, an innocent death as he is indeed innocent. The play by Toy Factory was at Drama Theatre, level 3 National Library at Bugis. I went with Liza and Yany. Before that we went to get a gift for Fauzie, as it was his birthday on the 20th March, last Saturday. Happy Belated Birthday! ^_^ We got him a gift we hope he liked and thanks to Liza for designing the gift card.

We were late to go into the theatre cos we bought the tix a few minutes before the play. Bad habit, never be late for a play. The play can be late for you. But it's okay cos the most interesting part of TKAM is the court scene. Fauzie did well, I was impressed and guess who else was there? Claude! The customer who comes to Coffeebean, and who I always greet. His role was Gilmer, the lawyer who represented Mayella. He was good too, I love his English. During the intermission, we wrapped the gift soo last minute but hope it was worth it. Lol. Haiz.

After the show, we waited for the man himself(Fauzie) but he didnt turn up. Apparently, he was making an escape and that was real fast! But we caught up with him, said our hi's and well wishes. I gave him the gift and he wanted to open. I said no, you can't. Then after we said our goodbyes after taking pics and left.

On the way to the bus stop, I saw Claude so I said hey Claude! Then he turned and said Oh, hi!(remember the scene Liza and Yany? Can't stop laughing at me, can you?) And, he hugged me! I was surprised but I reciprocrated. It was nice, cos he doesnt do that to me in Coffeebean. O.o After which said goodbye and went off home sweet home.

Hey'aw! It's 3:41pm according to the time on the PC. Today, went to Tanjong Pagar for lunch. Take away lunch to be exact, me and Huifen went there by train of course. We went to Telok Ayer market, which I think is much better in comparison to the usual Tiong Bahru market that we went by shuttle bus from SGH. Cos.. There are more stalls selling Muslim food! Yeah! It's not difficult being a Muslim, just that we have to consume Halal food else our 5 times a day prayers are not accepted.

Well, we left at 11.40am(early lunch u think? nope, just worried we're back at the office late). Reached Tanjong Pagar at 12noon. And a lot of office people having lunch, bet they came early! Full house man the market, actually it's a food place but it's called market. Maybe in the olden days, the market is a place where u eat and buy ur groceries. Lol. Huifen wanted to eat Nasi Lemak, which she said is nice and she queued for her turn. I went browsing and found a stall selling Nasi Padang. So I ordered rice, asam pedas(cool thing is they separated the fish, gravy and ladys fingers) and bagedil(my fav).

Unfortunately, when I went back to find Huifen, the Nasi Lemak are all sold out. Poor mate, so went looking around else we waste time. So, she settled for Hougang Nasi Lemak(what? all the way from Hougang,but not Halal) and homemade iced lemon tea. I bought Banana+Pineapple+Milk shake. It's nice! I love my lunch today. So we went back, ate lunch and continued our work. Tomorrow, lunch with Liza, Mizah and Zabrina at Tiong Bahru Plaza. Yay. Back to work, noh! Next entry!

Hey'aw. Tell me, how do I make the website more interactive? Flash contents have been done by my mate and me,but she does mostly the Flash. And not only the simple ones, even the ones which require scripts. We'll be given another set of task, something called resuscitation. A new website, start from scratch. Well we have seen the contents, not gonna be that much, so we think its okay. :) Aside to that, I got an email from Alunan Kasih! Like finally! After sooooooooooooooo long. Yes i emphasized on the so cos its been very long. The Malay songwriting competition was last year, and I submitted just one entry. I wrote the lyrics and tune with Fauzie Laily's voice in mind actually. But well, my song was chosen! I'm one of the finalists! I hope my song will turn out great, whats more it will be sang by last year's Anugerah runner-up Kunjung! And she has a great voice. The exciting part is.... I can be part of the recording process! Finally I can get directed to blogger! I really need a new laptop, cos this one Im using has been around for 3 years. The RAM is small and processor is almost outdated. I want a Blackberry-thanks to President Obama and Ipod Touch-thanks to Haziq's influence! hehe. Anyway, had a blast for my 22nd birthday. So, do I feel 22? Nope, not yet. Wait till someone asks me how old I am and I'll tell them I'm 22! No longer 21, well that's when I'll start feeling 22. Much thanks to Faridah and Liza, my 2 lovely girls for the really wonderful surprise. I thought it would just be us plus my other half. Lol. But, hey! I was surprised really and I loved the cake! My favourite! The cake that was bought for Mariam's birthday and it was mine, all mine on my birthday! Wow... What's a great birthday? I love watching Ugly Betty cos as the show progresses Betty became more pretty. And the storyline is much better too. I so love watching the three "roomies" Betty, Marc and Amanda. They're always "bullying" Betty with rude and "cruel" remarks. But Betty's gotten used to it. Sometimes, I feel I'm like Betty and when Betty gets mean she gets into trouble. I also like the relationship she shares with Daniel Meade. Though he is her boss, and she has been promoted to Editor, they're still as good as boss and assistant.

So, it's the 2nd week of Feb and according to the SIP schedule, Huifen and I have completed most of the 2nd module. It's been pretty interersting so far, getting used to scientific terms. As said, Im doing internship at National Cancer Centre where the job involves uploading e-learning Chemotherapy content for nurses. We have to make the website as interactive and user-friendly.

It has been a tiring week, having to wake up early like 5.30am or earlier then getting ready by 6.30am so I can get a bus to the main road bus-stop and board 147 to NCC. Usually I'll reach by 7.30-7.45am. And as usual, check my mails and status updates by my fav celebs. Cant get enough of twitter! Something to get me going when the going gets tough.

Here are pics of my little bro's birthday! Happy 7th birthday dear brother! We had fun though it was a simple celebration.

Mom fed Toufeeq the traditional birthday porridge.

Thanks to my little sister, Hany, the game master. She prepared 3 games. Initially, Nuvia and I(being the 2 eldest) just wanted to chill at home but out of pity for the two kids, we played with them under the void deck, boy it was fun! Should have gone to play earlier instead of 10pm plus. We ended the games by almost 12 midnite.
We had to team up, Me and the birthday boy,Toufeeq and; Nuvia and Hany. First we had "who blows the biggest balloon wins" and I won! Yay. Hany writes down the points. Next was the "draw on each other's face" and we had individual points. Nuvia was drawing my face and laughing, I did hers! with lots of colours. Toufeeq's face was drawn by Hany, and he looks like a Navi from Avatar with his Shrek headband. Hany looks like a on-the-loose reindeer. Lol.

Then we had "blanket" game where the person wearing the blanket over his/her head has to find the people and tag them. So the next person to be tagged will be the "blanket".

Hey is it Feb already? How time flies! Too fast.. :( Was just enjoying Jan. Anyways, Im in my 3rd week of internship at NCC, so far so good. The job is basically to finish up the last 4 modules. The base of the website is done by two male TP students, so all we(me and Huifen) need to do is to make the website more user-friendly. Say, change the UI or easier navigation. So daily, our routine is come in at 8am, make our drinks(coffee/tea) eat our bread for breakfast, chat and start work. Since we're given seats round the bend, like an ad-hoc space,we do what we like and what we want. It's like working in Google, just that Google is much more fun. Lunch at SGH, there's discounts for staffs. Except we're not really staffs. But since we got the name tags we can get discounts. Come 5.30pm, time to knock off. and 5 pm on Fridays! Yay, working with Huifen is fun too! Nice to talk to, joke with and doze off with lol.

Hey'aw! Wow, its been 2 weeks of Jan 2010 already! And good news finally. Went for interview on Tuesday with Huifen whom I'll be doing the internship(sip) with.Our interview was at 1030am but i reached earlier before 10am! Wow.. So we met at National Cancer Centre(NCC) entrance and went up to meet the interviewer. The interviewer was Ms Chan who called us to schedule the interview. Wasn't much of an interview though cos we went there, we sat down and Ms Chan went through the project with us, and her colleague who is the IC for IT dept. So we found out the elearning website has been done by 2 TP students previously. They did from scratch, well at least we got the working example. We need to finish up the parts undone. Using FLASH and DREAMWEAVER. We went home after that and we both got a call from Ms Chan confirming us as interns at NCC. yay, finally I got a company to do SIP.Bad news is I dropped my ezlink card in the bus I think but I made a new one and reported the lost card. And no more primary school pic on my TP ezlink card! Haha. On 12th Jan we celebrated our dear little brother's birthday, will blog more soon! =) with pictures!

Hey'aw! No school for me today. This past 2 days have been 'enriching' what with Pre-SIP briefing and NAPFA test on Monday, and 'UP Your Service' workshop yesterday. Pre-SIP briefing was okay the usual and first time ever got to meet our new Course Manager, he was alright. Then came NAPFA at 3pm supposedly but end up starting half an hour later, cos waited for the 'facilitator' or 'tester'. Both were guys for the girls and guys group. I did well for all except inclined pull-up, wanted to aim for 5 a bronze, but by 3 i couldn't take it anymore. Gosh. But what did surprise me was I managed 3 usually I can do 1. Another thing was my sit and reach, I usually couldnt do more than 35cm but i managed 42cm! Yay, adn finally 2.4km run-jog. I came in first! That is among the girls, first time ever in my entire school life. That is quite an achievement for me, but Im not really happy nor disappointed, cos I wanted a 14 min plus finish but I did it in 16 mins plus, bronze. But since I failed one part of the test then I guessed I failed as a whole? Damn, but thats alright.

Hey'aw. I was watching Gilmore Girls season1 episode3. And as always a habit of mine, I like to do other things while watching rather listening to the show(using my earpiece,which is why i like to do other stuffs). I checked out my blog and the fingers started to click on changes. Wow, and so Ive changed my blog layout using Blogger's templates. But I like my profile picture cos I made it into a nice collage. =) Well done *pat my back*. Ohh, I just found out I won't be working on the last week of 2009. Bother. :( Well, new things to look forward to the new year. SIP in January, turning 22 in February. Sighs, time passes so fast. Get a new phone perhaps when my contract is due? Okay so, I received email that I didn't get into Oracle due to space constraints. Huh, it was listed they want 10 interns.Nevermind that, I still won't get to do MP. I have to go for another interview of course. As I hung up my formal wear after it has been washed and dried, I had a feeling that I would have to go for another interview. Truth be told, see? Well it's okay. It's coming to an end and a new year awaits. So far, 2009 has been good to me and I hope have been good too. Today I'll be going for the usual Xmas party at Mum's friend's house. Every year the same old thing, but fun! Hope I won't get the same Xmas present hehe. Just dont get me wrong, I don't celebrate Xmas but its not nice to turn down an invitation right? Besides there's a spread, food I mean and they are catered, HALAL! Ookay gtg, have a good one people!

Hallu! It's a warm Monday night and i'm downloading some stuffs. I'm hungry and I wanna eat ice-cream, yes Cornetto! Actually I don't really fancy Cornetto ice-cream but I guess tastebuds changed after all. So tomorrow I'm gonna eat them with Zamir. Yes, I'm sad today abit emo. Well gonna have late dinner after this, all by myself. :( Tomorrow is the day, my interview at Oracle. Yes the company that I'll be doing SIP at. It'll be at 10 am Suntec Tower 4 18th floor! I don't feel anything now but tomorrow yes definitely butterflies in the stomach. At least I have read up about Oracle but what I'm most a little bit afraid of is that the questions the interviewer will ask about what I can do. Programming is not my forte but IT=Programming(highest priority) i guess. Haiz. Oh well, recent events? Did I mention I've been promoted to a manager? Yes, i ran the morning shift on my own over the weekends. It was ok, not much business. And yesterday, went to eat dinner at Pizza Hut, Marina Square with Fauzie and the other Fauzierettz. It was fun and I can't wait to watch the man himself in an English play. As requested Im gonna watch the last date of the play, save the best for the last. I did that play in secondary school, but as the Bailiff lol. I wanted to be Scout. But my most favourite is Atticus, he is so cool. Really man, literature is awesome. :) ok dinner here i come.

Yay, finally yesterday was the last day of school! :) Just TAIN presentation and test. I think I did badly for the test cos of the last question. :x Anyway Im glad that its a good day today, nothing else to worry about. Tmrw will be 2nd day of full rest at home and come thurs-sun WORK. Oh ya, and 11th Dec this Friday there'll be the PRE-SIP briefing. Have to attend. Made my new glasses yesterday at Heartland Mall with Zamir after school. Left my old ones in the bus after midnite and was really sleepy when I got off the bus with my sis. Well been meaning to get a new one with thicker frame. So why not, lose it. haha didnt bother to get it back. Im really hungry so gonna eat my late lunch now! :)

Yesterday was a great day, cos there is no need to go to school. All we had to do was to go to Ruzz's place at Yew Tee. Finally due to my independence and asking her for directions I managed to find my way to her place. :) We gathered at her place to do our TRIF project. I was late so I was fired. Two down, so now our team has 2 people, Mizzy and Ruzz. Me and Jazzy are there for support. Macam paham!

Besides, it's free. Duh. Mizzy and me left at 6pm together with our host cum chef, Ruzz. We parted ways and I said see you next week! They laughed and they said hey tmrw there's sch! Lol.

I met Zamir at the ChoaChuKang interchange we took 190 to Ngee Ann City. I was 30 minutes late! :x But lucky, when I reached my friend was ready to do whatever she needed to. I was happily reading the magazines they have in silence when I almost dropped the mag cos I got sleepy. This time round, my friend did a good job, by not 'burning' my scalp. Haha. I liked it when I get my hair washed at salons. Anyway, I took some pics too. So, when I was done my hair was still in curls at the lower ends, Zamir said I looked nice. Well I think I looked different! And my oh my, he was so sweet! He got me a scone! All the way from the Coffeebean where I worked! I love u so much my dear, u are so sweet! All the way!

Hey'aw! had my usual "breakfast" of 2 slices of wheat toast with skippy peanut butter and grape jam every morning/afternoon. Ok so its a Friday! Supposed to be out after Zohor to meet my sis. I've promised to get her new shoes, Demi Lovato lookalike.Yes like this from DMK. Costs about 30 plus? Should be ok.

But its raining heavily! Oh man. I love the rain but not when im going out. Anyways, Im kinda stressed cos Ive got an Oracle test on Monday and interview. I am not good in programming. how do i understand it? i don't wanna fail but I dont wanna disappoint anyone. Gosh, help me. Well Ive got Sat and Sun to revise back. Its the 2nd day of school and 2nd day of my MC. Been sick since last Friday but it got worst on Sunday nite. Was hearing things I guess. Here's what happened. I was about to sleep with a wet towel on my forehead to bring down my temperatue. I heard knocking on my room door. I opened and it was dark cos there were no lights. I called out to my grandma but no response. I freaked out and quickly shut the door and locked it. I jumped onto the bed and called Zamir. Thank God for handphones! he calmed me down and read some prayers. But i was too weak to be strong. So i kept feeling scared and cried. Plucking up courage I turned on the lights(cant sleep with the lights on) and talked to him. I hung up then called my sister and my mum. They said they would come over.(i live with my grandma) And I read prayers out loud while crying. Soon my mum, dad and sis came. So sis slept over. Felt like sister's keeper. We talked she made me laugh and I forgot my fear. Now im back to being happy. Not yet healthy but the flu and fever has gone down. So i have to keep eating my meds and concentrate on getting well! Aja aja fighting!

Hey'aw! It's just the 2nd week of year 3. So far so good. Cos the subjects this term/sem(still confused with both) are quite okay. Today was the 1st submission for tourism & innovation report. I did on Marina South Pier, incorporate IT to it by installing a ferry ticket kiosk and to improve the website as well. The lecturer/tutor kept telling my class to not work on it too much cos its apparently 10%. Okay maybe i should have listened to him earlier so that i can finish my work faster. The hardest part has yet to be finding out the costs of hardware/softwares and doing the accouts. I hate that. Geez. Okay it rained heavily ard 11plus but it has come to a drizzle. Looks good cos I'll have to run a few errands. Thank God there's no school today cos I really need a day off. Well, that's all for now. Ciao!

Wow. It's finally coming to an end. What is, you ask? The holidays which lasted almost 2 months! And yes come Monday welcome back to school! I checked the timetable and I wont be in the same class as my boo. :'( But well we'll see each other often of course! Can't wait to see him later though, and spend the last 3 days before school to the fullest. Yesterday, after I ended work we went to eat at Seoul Garden and it was kinda difficult to make a decision if we should go Bugis or Ngee Ann. I made him choose my hand. I so wanted him to choose my right hand(Bugis) but he chose the left hand(Ngee Ann). When we arrived at Ngee Ann i told him i wanted Bugis and he scolded me for not telling him earlier. Haha. I was like nevermind, haha.. We ate to our hearts' content at Seoul Garden from 5 to 8 i think! It was fun I sooooooooo love the beef bulgogi! Sweet and juicy! Yum! Then we walked ard and headed home. Thank you for being a part of my life Zamir <3, sweetest boyfriend ever. And plus, the weather today is Awesome cos I need to hang dry my clothes!

Hallu! So it's been quite a tiring week for me. Working and going out with the family jalan raya. Sheesh. And was late for work yesterday. Sorry boss! Haloo! Its Monday and apparently Im off from work so I stayed home the whole day to change the cushions, mop the floors, sweep, change curtains and hang the carpets to breathe fresh air. Well, I pitied my dearest grandmother who's alone at home when Im out to work and meet friends for buka. So I meant to be at home this whole week or rather after work buka at home with the GM. Im happy as Ive done most of the cleaning. Well I love cleaning the house as compared to cooking. Oh yeah, will be going to Geylang tmrw after Magrhrib to check whats hot and whats not. I mean like see what's nice to get for this year's raya. And Im gonna get the same colour as my bf, well of course. =) now now, I have to get gg to sch to print my results and meet him for awhile. We miss each other u see. Duh. haha. And off I go to buy chicken wings for buka later from OCK. Yum i like those chicken wings soooooooo nice.(in my opinion). Okay better get gg now! Hey'aw! Been a long time since I updated. It's the 13th day of Ramdan. So far so good. alhamdullilah. went iftar with my Poly mates yesterday at Far East Plaza at Cahaya. Reserved 6 places- Ruzz, Liz, Miz, Dian, Zam and me. But the food wasn't that great.:( I ordered their Nasi-Katil(Cahaya special) wasn't that spicy as they said and worst, i was charged $4.80 extra. or rather 5 bucks more. Cos apparently the auntie who took my order said I placed order thru phone.Hello?? I placed the order directly. Gosh. I let the matter rest. But dear boyfie was so sweet he actually wanted to get to the bottom of it and he was kinda sad actually that I was cheated of my own hard-earned money. Chill boo.(thats what I call him) Hmm, so after iftar went jalan-jalan around Orchard. Checked out books at Kinokuniya(i thought it was a Jap restaurant last time haha). Browsed thru all sections and settled for the food section cos Ruzz was there, as usual. Anything to do with baking or cooking she will be there. So we hanged around there and then Ruzz decided she wanted dessert. So we went to Mac's. I was too tired and sleepy(and still reeling from that stupid Strawberry milkshake I shared with Liz earlier, it sucked.) so i skipped dessert. Then boo wanted to get Whopper for his dearest mum so we went to BurgerKIng at ION. We had a hard time looking for it and found it 'lurking' not ard the corner but rather difficult to spot cos it had an exterior which to me looked like a cave entrance and all black. Boo called it evil. I was like yeah Dr Evil's quarter's. Lol. After that we went back to Taka finding that the Mac was closed. Liz has left by then so we met the other girls at the fountain. They were still eating their ice-cream and boo ate his burger. I went to buy water and when I came back, Ruzz asked me if Zam and I were dating. I said yes, we are. Hehe. Zam was "blushing". Finally you girls know. Hehe.

Hey'aw been awhile since I upated. Projects never ending! Now having ENCM presentation. I was done like a few hours ago. Im so hungry! Well had a tiring weekend. Work on Saturday and came home finding out Mum and Aunt wanna go dancing at DXO. So we went. It was great there was a live band. 3 sexy ladies and they are really good. Filipinos have great vocals! So was really grooving to the music. I danced till my shoes broke. Damn, but it was meant to break and has been loyal to me for the past 3 years. I'm so gonna get a new pair of white heels! I love white shoes(lady shoes only). Shuweet. Oh yeah so we met up with my mum's friend, whom i so dearly call Uncle William but he is not so Uncle hor. He's 17 in a 40 year old body. Well it was ladies nite. So free entrance especially for NTUC members but 17 bucks for guys. And we went in and danced the minute we got in! I was having fun dancing. I dont drink. At all. Danced till 4am and my legs hurt so much. oh ya me, Aunt and mum were the last three people dancing. And there was this Indian dude trying to chat 3 ladies up but I could see they were trying to get away. Ok to be continued. Lots to write. and break's coming in a few minutes. ciao!

No school today! Tmrw yes, just for a short project presentation. Life's been pretty normal and its raining today. So its a bit cool. Oh yes, went to Botanic Gardens with Mom and two lil siblings. It was kinda dark when we arrived cos we left home late. And I have never known how beautiful BG was! Plus it was my 1st time there! Oh yes, the Swan Lake needs some entertainment. Poor swans there looked bored to death other than kind human beings throwing pieces of food into the water for them to chase at. Will definitely go there again in the morning or noon! Im trying to get my school work done but it seems just too hard or rather I am LAZY. yeah. so what i did was.. after watching Deuce Bigalow on MioTV(yes I have that now), im off to doing my schoolwork in preparation for friday's presentation. but umm, i just highlighted some content off the photostated information i need from pressman's book. I abided the rules okay. not more than 10% of the whole book. okay, i twitter-ed, myspace-ed(found hilary duff! finally) and zac efron accepted my friend request!! oh well, send a few tweets to miley and kelly clarkson but well they wont reply thoough its ok. Im following their updates. Yes, so I need to be somewhere at 10am and its like 3.46am now i better sleep. thk god am not working! yes! cant wait for next week, whole load of fun and hanging out with my sis! i realise i talk too much so i should post up pics. hehe.. and maybe a youtube video of my mom and sis dancing to rehab-amy winehouse!

Alright that settled. So whats new u ask? I went for the Singapore Idol Auditions. yes my 2nd try but I didnt get in. Well that's fine cos I had fun under the HOT sun but boy am I glad friends that I know got in and my lovable cousin got in too! The trend to getting to the 2nd round of the auditions is when the judges(well for the 1st audition the judges are the producers themselves not Ken,Florence or Dick mind you.)so in conclusion, my Idol journey has not been quite a journey haha. All I got for the 1st and 2nd try was TWO THANK YOUs and thats all.But this time round I wasnt really exhausted, tired yeah. So that was how my Saturday was spent. Sunday was spent going out with my family. Speaking of which my mum and the two younger kids had fun at the fountain at Bugis Junction. My lil brother wore the Spiderman costume and played in the fountain. A few people stopped by and took pictures of him. One lady actually kissed him but on the outside cos he wore the mask. haha. it was funny! Im glad they had fun. And my mum too! Attracted a lot of passerbys and 'photographers'.Im still tired though. Today is Monday. And tmrw Im working. Bleargh. Drone.[head is hanging, neck is snapping any moment]I aint complaining but after 2 years I am no longer enjoying my job. Cos the people are no fun anymore.Oh well, I cant wait for Friday to come and be over(sch). April 15th to catch Hannah Montana the MOVIE!!!! and Monsters vs Aliens. Yeeha!! =) alright gtg sleep after watching Ugly Betty.

Hey'aw! Life's been really hectic. Late nites early mornings. Really sucks man. What u ask? School that is. It's not like I stayed up late to watch TV or use the net. I have been busy with ECSD creating an ecommerce site and trying to avoid all errors. Well I am glad its over and I didnt have to redo my part. Please dear teacher, pass me. I dont want to go thru it all over again. It's fun just that it's really 'taxing' to me at least. Ok The Ultimatum is now on. And Felicia Chin looks weird. Haha.

And something I want to share. I've never liked Danny Gokey cos my favs were Alison Iraheta & Kris Allen. My mom likes Adam Lambert. But well Adam is the strongest contender. I like his voice and stage presence. When he sings everyone looks at him. The stage disappears and music comes to live. It's like watching a concert.

I want to share this video of Danny Gokey singing "What Hurts The Most".I like his version of this song. Danny though you didnt get thru to the finals, Sophia will always be watching you.

Hey'aw! TGIF! Well, done with ECSD proposal this morning at 3am. I know it was late at night and early morning. But had to get things done and did work with my eyes closed. Always doing that. Not good actually sleeping too late. Always deprived of sleep and the only thing I look forward to is having naps(or catch up on lack of sleep) especially when school ends like 4 or 5pm. But I like Wednesdays cos I end at 1pm so I can go home and nap, then at 5pm go jogging! So basically Im gonna keep fit this way by jogging three times a week. Used to do morning exercise before school and I always end up late for class. Haha. Well, Monday there's SWEN written test(note the two modules Im taking this sem has no exam, PBL based). Yeah so need to prepare. Ive got 2 weekends and a half. Guess what? Today is PAYDAY! Yay, means I can pay my bills! The rest keep and spend. Hehe. On necessary stuffs. Like a weighing machine and a yoga mat? Haha. Oh yest after school, went to visit my grandma(on Mom's side) and my uncle(Mom's younger brother) at Tampines! I went to Tamp Lib cos I tried calling grandma but she didnt pick up so I thought I'd hang ard for a while. But she called and we had dessert at the kopitiam and went to her place afterwards. Watched Discovery Channel and fell asleep waiting for the family. Got a SMS from Mizah saying Danny Gokey gt out so Adam Lambert will vie for the AI 2009 spot with Kris Allen. Well I do think DG and AL shud be vying for the AI 2009 spot instead of Kris. But hey who's the obvious AI winner? ADAM LAMBERT. But you never know. Even if AL doesnt win he'll go a LONG WAY cos ROCK. trust me on this. NEVER DIES. \m/(rock sign) Hehe. Oh yeah I was surprised my Uncle could actually play the guitar and sing. So we crooned to oldies and my new song(I wrote this for Alunan Kasih for someone in particular). I wanted to hear how it would sound on guitar so I had my Uncle play the melody for me. It was nice but a bit difficult. Oh well.

Hey'aw! I am so frustrated today and had a HECTIC evening. Nak layan semua kehendak org! Why cant I have peace for even a second? Like let me watch my Korean show at 7pm. All started with my grandma sth to do with her letterbox key and she went to the CC to report that its faulty. They referred her to the police post and can I say that that Malay police officer is cute? Hehe. Well, the two POs came over and checked out her letter box but they found nthg. They said she should ask the postman instead. Wth. I dont care. My family came especially the kids(aka my siblings) to use the net obviously! They were on it since 5pm! OMG! Im always the person to switch off the net. Anyways, it was fun having the whole fam at my grandma's. We had pizza from Canadian Pizza, it was super nice. Belated Mother's Day for mum and grandma. =)Watched JIHAN. All these while the frustration is going on for me. One of those days where everyone wants me to help them with this and that and Im not in my 'helping' mood. So thats why am FRUSTRATED. Well gtg! And thinking of SFMPL's kite flying event. Hmm.. Macam nak difikirkan!Gonna watch smallville!

Woots. My 1st Anugerah audition is up. How was my 1st Anugerah experience?
Well, on 2nd May the day of registration came at 10am and queued up. Legs ached, feet tired and body slumped over. Queued under the HOT sun. drank lots of water and ate my homemade breakfast for lunch. Almost reached the tent for registration but wanted to get out of the queue. Sadly didnt make any new friends during the queue. But my dear sis was there with me the whole time I was queueing up and upon reaching the front, I felt aircon reaching towards me! i saw the interior of Estpoint Mall and there was Fauzie Laily on stage.Not singing but hosting! He sure looked good in his 'Anugerah gear' and those oh-so-white boots! Anyways, the time came for my turn and I found out that contestants 1-500 get to audition on the same day till 10pm sei!

Contestants 501-1000 will get to audition on 3rd May and I was like shucks! I had to work morning and I was number 618. I have to come at 11.30am! So i informed my manager and he was super understanding throughout. He allowed me to go for the auditions and helped me find replacement. So nice of him. I bet the PRCs at my workplace must be raving mad. Anyways, after registering I went to look for my sister. And I was super vexed from queueing up(feels like Singapore Idol all over again!)and I had to look for her. She didnt have her phone with her so I had to use my eyes la. I went up to the top level and down but she was nowhere! Actually there were a lot of people!! How to find her??

I almost gave up and was under extreme frustration I wanted to cry! And even thought of asking Fauzie for help to make announcement regarding my sister. Lol. I didnt manage to even try that cos she found me. =) So we 'lepak' at Pasir Ris Park. I was in total need of a place to chill and practise some more singing. Finally went home by 7.10pm to watch Just My Luck! (Starring Chris Pine and Lindsay Lohan) Then did my school project research.

Okay now on 3rd May came at 1130am but had to rush to the loo first, skali my turn was at 12noon plus la. Before that I watched the other contestants perform and I felt nervous. I asked my sister for many hugs to cool myself down. Then came the moment, had to sit with other contestants chatted with them. The guy who sat next to me, his name was Nizam. The day before Didicazli chatted with him and said he could sing. Nizam was also interviewed by SURIA.Oh yeah, he made it through and even interacted with the crowd.

My turn came so I waited next to the stage and Fauzie said 'Hey you!'. We talked abit about the song I was gonna sing. Thanks for remembering me dude! Ok how did I fare? U gotta watch the video. Gtg. Ciao!
